All Night Vigil
My prayersgoes out to you tonight,
A prayer for hope, and grace;
I miss your smile, I miss your hugs,
I long to see your face;
The distance come between us
Is really not that far
At least in terms of land and sea -
I know right where you are.
A prayer goes out from me tonight
A prayer of love, and joy
A missed remembrance, tears have shed,
And all about me time is dead,
And all I want is your bright face
Come back to me, come find a place
Where we can write and laugh and talk -
And never ever facebook stalk -
And get our schoolwork done.
A prayer goes out for me tonight
A prayer more desperate still;
A prayer that in this madness I
Will learn to do His will.
I don't know how to listen, or
To sit and just be loved.
But my work and heart and hopes and prayers
Are more now works of love.

it was wonderful to see you in the library today - it's delightful when you pop up unexpectedly. :) i know you've got a lot of work ahead of you, and i just wanted to wish you the best of luck and say that i'm praying for you. you're very special to me, shane. :)
